60년대 중반에는 몸에 꽉 끼는 바지에 풀어헤친 티셔츠를 걸친 채 격정적인 무대 매너를 선보여,

수많은 여성들이 그 앞에서 비명을 지르고 졸도하고 난리가 났었죠.


이 노래 Delilah는 톰 존스의 섹시함에 넋을 잃은 일부 여성 팬들이

무대 위로 팬티를 벗어 던지고 호텔 방 열쇠를 집어던지며 열광하던 1960년대 말,

정확히 1968년에 발표된 곡입니다.

거의 40년 전에 나온 곡입니다만...


순간적인 분노를 참지 못해 자신도 모르는 새에 사랑하는 여자를 칼로 찌른다는...

가사 내용이 파격적이다 못해 파괴적이죠...
